Car Insurance Suzuki (Car Insurance). Question about 2011 VW GTI DynaAudio system?

Question about 2011 VW GTI DynaAudio system? I am about to buy a new 2011 VW GTI and I am not sure about the stereo system. In every car I've ever had, I've always installed an after market system with multiple amps, subs, mids, and tweets (Alpine, Pioneer, kenwood, memphis audio, JL-Audio, etc.) because stock systems lack that hi-fi and in depth sound. However, this time I really don't want to install anything. I want to leave the stock stereo system in place (which is the RNS 315 Navigation System). I've read mixed reviews on the DynaAudio system so I'm not sure what I should do. I've also read that the speakers are shitty. I wonder if the stock system would sound good enough on its own or could I just install an amp pushing a 10" or 12" sub and it would fill in that deep bass? When I test drove the car, I did test out the sound system, but it was on Sirius Radio, the doors were open, and the salesman was talking. I couldn't focus on the sound really. From what I recall, it was "decent" sounding. But it definitely didn't have any "Wow" factor. So I'd like to hear your thoughts on the DynaAudio system, Likes/Dislikes, Sound impressions, system performance, and recommendations. Thanks in advance!

I went through the same decision when I bought my 2010 Golf TDI, using my ipod and SD card, I found the dynaudio system to be dramatically better than the base model system. The most audio work I've done in any of my cars was the install a new headunit in my '01 Golf just so I could have a CD player, so I don't consider myself an audiophile at all, but I was impressed with the dynaudio enough that I was willing to spend the $375 or whatever the option price was. The Dynaudio system definitely falls short of the aftermarket, and even the Fender audio system offered in other VW models, but it is a modest improvement over the base system. On my personal car I didn't think it was worth the money, and spent it on a RNS-510 upgrade instead. Music sounds perfectly fine with the base system, and when I feel like critically listening to music a set of headphones or a decent home stereo is going to outshine the best car stereo any day.

Mercury Marine manufactures several models of their 7.4 liter MerCruiser engine. Most of the 7.4 liter models are four-cycle engines and provide between 280 and 350 horsepower and around 4,400 rpm. The starter of the engine serves as an integral part of the ignition by helping to turn the flywheel. If your marine engine no longer starts and you have ruled out other problems such as a dead battery, replace the starter.

Step by Step :

Disconnect the negative terminal of your MerCruiser battery from the negative cable that attaches to it. This removes electricity from the engine to decrease your risk of electric shock.

Slide the spring clips off the engine cover and set them aside. Lift the cover.

Locate the starter of your watercraft's engine, which looks like a small silver cylinder attached to a large silver cylinder. Make a note of which cables attach to which terminals on the starter. The cables include the starter coil cable, the ground cable and the accessory wire.

Disconnect the starter coil cable from the starer of your marine engine by pulling it away from the starter. Disconnect the ground cable from the starter by pulling it from the starter. Disconnect the accessory wire.

Slide a socket wrench over the nuts on the starter and turn it counterclockwise to loosen the bolt. Remove the bolt from the engine. Remove any remaining nuts or bolts using an appropriately sized socket wrench. Work from top to bottom.

Grasp the starter and lift it upward and away from the engine. Recycle the starter or discard it in accordance with local laws.

Place the new starter in your watercraft's engine compartment.

Connect the bolts to the starter, working from bottom to top. Connect the nuts to the bolts, using the socket wrench. Connect the ignition, ground and accessory cables and place the cover back onto the engine. Reattach the negative cable to the negative terminal on your battery. Secure the cover using the springs.

The 1997 Pontiac Grand AM GT receives its power from a 2.4-liter, 150-horsepower, inline four-cylinder engine. This engine is kept cool by a mixture of antifreeze, known as Dex-Cool, and water. This coolant travels through the engine, absorbs the heat and then returns to the radiator, where it is cooled by the coolant fan. When this fan begins to fail, your 1997 Pontiac Grand Am will begin running hot or will overheat completely. Replacing this fan will repair this condition.

Step by Step :

Open the Grand Am's hood and disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery, using a ratchet and socket.

Look on the rear of the cooling fan assembly -- the pair of fans directly behind the radiator -- and locate the wiring harness plugging into each fan. Unplug the harness from the cooling fan, which is the fan on the driver's side, by pushing the locking button on the harness and pulling it away from the fan.

Loosen and remove the four bolts on the cooling fan, using a ratchet and socket. Pull the cooling fan up and out of the engine compartment.

Place the new fan on the fan assembly and tighten the four bolts to 97 inch-pounds, using a torque wrench and a socket.

Plug the wiring harness into the rear of the new fan assembly and listen for the click to indicate it's locked into place.

Reconnect the negative cable on the battery and tighten it using a ratchet and socket. Close the Grand Am's hood.
